Sausage Pesto Pizza

Yield: 1 medium pizza

The Stallion makes a party out of pizza night. The herbaceous punch of our Italian sausage paired with pesto, loads of cheese, and a rainbow of fresh vegetables is a meal that’ll quiet the hungry masses. It’s dinner TKO.


  • 2 Stallion Links, sliced (tossed in oil of choice) 
  • Pizza dough of choice (We used 1# fresh store-bought dough) 
  • 6.5 oz pesto (We used Bear Pond Farm, 3 Greens Pesto) 
  • 4 oz shredded mozzarella (We used So Delicious
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved 
  • ¼ red onion, sliced 
  • 1 oz Arugula (optional)

The How-To

  1. If using fresh dough, roll out onto a sheet tray or pizza stone and pre-bake (350 degrees for 5 minutes). 
  2. Add pesto, mozzarella, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and sliced Stallion. 
  3. Bake at 350 for 10 – 15 minutes or until cheese is melty and the dough is crusty. 
  4. Slice and top with Arugula
