Peach BBQ Sliders

You wanna talk Southern delicacies? We’ve got three words for you: peach ? bourbon ? barbecue ?. It’s a little bit classic, a little bit rustic, and a lot of delicious all crammed into one bite-sized package. ⠀⠀



  • Pit Boss
  • slider buns

Peach Jam
Yield: 2.5 cups

  • 5 peaches, peeled and quartered
  • 1 shallot small diced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 5 T brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Pickled Red Onions
Yield: 1 cup

  • ½ red onion, sliced thin
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup ACV
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 T salt

The How-To

  1. In a small pot combine water, ACV, salt, and sugar.  Heat until sugar is dissolved. Pour hot liquid over sliced red onions.  Set aside 1 hour.
  2. Roast quartered peached in the oven at 375 for 25 minutes. Remove from oven, blend until small chunks. Use a bit of water to help blend.
  3. Saute shallot until translucent, add blended peaches, lemon juice,bourbon, brown sugar, and salt.  Reduce over low heat until jammy.
  4. Heat Pit Boss.
  5. Build slider: toasted bun, jam, bbq, onions.
